Finance Ministry says may offer 10–30 bln rbl of OFZ Sep 15–30
MOSCOW, Jul 21 (PRIME) -- The Russian Finance Ministry plans to hold the first auction for state OFZ bonds on September 15–30, offering 10–30 billion rubles after a long suspension, Deputy Minister Timur Maximov said Thursday.
"We think we can come to the market with a certain volume in the second half of September, after the government approves the plans (of the budget for 2023–2025) and submits them to the State Duma," Maximov said.
He added that the volume will be very low in order not to "scare everyone with our program."
Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said earlier that the government planned no borrowings for 2022, neither locally nor abroad dropping an initial 3.26 trillion ruble local borrowing plan.
